WHAT IS RINGMAKER?                          FLAT RING SET                        HALF-ROUND RING SET

With RINGMAKER, you can form rings easily, quickly and seamlessly out of PMC (precious metal clay or silver clay).
RINGMAKER is made of acrylic and reusable over many times: you can make as many copies of any sized/shaped rings as you'd like.
It is extremely easy to use. Once you've learned a few small tricks, you can fashion a perfect ring in no time.

The previously difficult and tiresome steps in making rings from PMC/silver clay, such as smoothing out of the joints or forming a perfect circle, are no longer required with RINGMAKER.

There are two types of sets; one for half-round (the ring surface is round) rings and the other for flat (the surface is flat) rings. Both types come in four different mold sizes, which are 17, 21, 25 and 29.
*Please keep in mind the sizes on RINGMAKERs are Japan sizes.

*Please keep in mind that Precious Metal Clay always shrinks after drying/baking. The mold sizes are therefore not actual after-bake sizes. Following is a guide to help you with shopping for RINGMAKER.

RINGMAKER SHOPPING TIPS

If you have difficulty deciding which product to buy, you may want to consider the following steps.

  1. Decide whether you want to make half-round rings or flat rings.
  2. Decide the ring size you want to make and find out which mold size of RINGMAKER you need, using the "Shrinkage Estimation Table".
ex. For a size 10 half-round ring, you need a mold size 17 RINGMAKER set.
(This is all you need if you want to make half-round rings.)
  3. If you want to make flat rings, choose between 5/8/12mm width of the ring.
ex. If you decide to make a size 16, very wide flat ring, you need a mold size 25, 12mm-wide flat RINMAKER set (includes a  2.0mm-thick joint).
  4. When you decide to make a ring that is other than 2mm-thick, you should get a joint set which is the same size and width as the flat ring set you purchase.
ex. If you decide to make a wide and heavy carved ring for instance, you will need a 12mm-wide joint set for flat rings. There you will find a 3.5mm-thick joint which you can use for making this heavy ring.

*Joint sets are not usable alone, they are always used with flat ring basic sets.
